Cuda then accuses Martin o!f bei=*ng a( n 84$-(year-ol,:d vampire+  f%]rom his old co[($/untry. # H+*-e ha?^s ta. =ken. in Martin be!cause h^e is famil) y, but tells him, \@,"Fir/`st I@ w`il/*l save y-@our so%, ul. Then I %`$shall destr_.o.@y /!you. \&qu+ot M!^a=r%@%tin denies bein]/-g a v*a.-mp +ire and[? i*@m`=plies that Cuda is mer]ely his uncle rather than his cousin. She t;\(hink?s that Cuda and t %;,/he other ;%^m#emb)ers; of her famil,:y hav/*e drive  %=n Ma`?rtin to ins_a:/[ni/ty^ by making h $i^_@m th! ink that he_ is a vampire.
